Every year there are constantly new movies being released and created all the time, so I’ve gathered a few of these movies to give a rundown of.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – Released on Nov. 11, 2022

Starting off with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Released to theatres last month, Wakanda Forever is a fun and action filled sequel to the 2018 film Black Panther. Both movies star Letitia Wright as Shuri. Since the passing of Chadwick Boseman, fans have been nervous about how the sequel to Black Panther would turn out. However, evidently the crowds loved the movie as evidenced by the 94% score on Rotten Tomatoes in the audience score.

Avatar: The Way of Water – Released on Dec. 16, 2022

Avatar fans, like myself, have been on the edge of their seats with the sequel to the award winning 2009 movie, Avatar. Jake, Ney’tiri and their family find themselves leaving their home to explore Pandora when humans threaten Pandora once more.

Wonka – To be released on December 15, 2023

Wonka is a prequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. Starring Timothée Chalamet as Wonka, this backstory to the esteemed candymaker’s life is a fun-filled movie due to release in 2023.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – To be released May 5, 2023

Whether you’re an avid Marvel fan or if you just like the Guardians of the Galaxy series because of its charisma, you’re sure to love this sequel. In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, you take a deep dive into Rocket’s origins.

Haunted Mansion – To be released on August 11, 2023

This Disney movie is based on the Haunted Mansion ride located in both Disneyland and Disney World. As this small family moves to a new town, they look for an affordable place to live. They find a scarily cheap mansion that they move into, unsuspecting of what lies behind closed doors.

Avatar 3 – To be released December 20, 2024

After Avatar: The Way of Water is released, James Cameron is already planning for a third Avatar sequel called Avatar 3. Avatar 3 is a temporary title for the movie, with Avatar: The Seed Bearer being considered, yet nothing is set in stone. This movie is a direct sequel to Avatar: The Way of Water previously mentioned above, and will contain major water aspects like The Way of Water. Contrary to previous movies, Avatar 3 will present the Na’vi as the negative force and the humans more positively in addition to introducing a new tribe in Pandora called the Ash People who are meant to represent fire elements. If you’re looking for culture-rich and beautiful elements of nature, the Avatar series is exactly the place to be.

No matter if you’re an avid movie watcher or if you only watch the Star Wars trilogy, these movies are very exciting future additions to your must-watch movie list.
