You Know… That One TikTok Song

Musical Artist That Are Getting Their Fame From an App

You+Know...+That+One+TikTok+Song

Since the past month, there really hasn’t been much to do, so many teenagers spend their time scrolling through TikTok for hours. Due to the uprise in popularity within the app, more and more songs are only becoming known as “you know… that one TikTok song…” Well, then I had this brilliant idea. Why not look up on Apple Music a playlist titled “Famous TikTok songs” and review some of the songs? Well, this is how it went:

**These are not in a particular order**

“Death Bed” by Powfu

Death Bed has definitely become one of my favorite songs. If it wasn’t for this app making one verse of this song stuck in my head, I probably would’ve never heard of it. The beat is one that you can just vibe to, and it’s even better with the bass in a car. I have listened to this song so much that I even have my brother walking around the house singing it. It is very catchy, and I would so recommend it to someone!

“SUGAR” by BROCKHAMPTON

Between the beat and the very unique voice, I actually really liked it. I found myself randomly dancing to it. Overall, this song is different, but in its own way it works. I wouldn’t listen to it all the time, but if it was to come on when I shuffled my playlist, I would listen to it.

“Sunday Best” by Surfaces

From the very beginning, this song had my attention. I would so jam out to this song with my windows rolled down in my car. The message is amazing, and to top it all off, the singers’ voice is very soothing! Although it is kind of repetitive, I think it works. This song will definitely be in my playlist for a while!

“Relationship” by Young Thug feat. Future

When I saw the title I had no idea what this song was, but then it played, and I instantly knew what song it was. I actually learned the dance to this song with a friend. However, besides the part that’s on TikTok, I actually don’t care for it. The beat is cool and all, but besides that, there wasn’t anything special to this song. I wouldn’t personally listen to this song again.

“Yellow Hearts” by Ant Saunders

Although this is an old trending song, I actually was obsessed with this song. He got famous by singing it on his account, and after that, it blew up. There were girls making their own version to it, weird memes, and it stayed trending for months. I love the beat and even the artist’s voice. The song is different, and I really wore the song out.

“The Box” by Roddy Rich

From the weird noise at the beginning to the upbeat pace of the sing, I actually really liked it. I will definitely blare it in my car with my windows down. The song usually wouldn’t be something I’d listen to, but it is actually catchy.  I would love to jam out to this song in my car with my friends during the summer!

“Lottery” by K Camp

Besides the famous part of the song known as “renegade”, this song is not worth the listen. It repeats the same verses over and over, and the beat has nothing that just stands out. It was not worth the time to listen to, and should just stay as a TikTok dance trend.

“No Idea” by Don Toliver

I honestly don’t know how to feel about this song. I liked the beat to it, however, the lyrics completely ruined it, along with the echo effect that is literally after every sentence. There was no need to repeat everything that was said. I like to hope I never have to listen to this again.

“Blueberry Faygo” by Lil Mosey

Now from the beginning, it is just a groovy song. It would definitely be one of those songs I would even pick to start listening to. I genuinely enjoyed it, maybe because it gives me more summer vibes. Who knows.

“Heart On Ice” by Rod Wave

I LIVE for the beginning. I literally will say it at the top of my lungs. I listen to it all the time… like legit. Everything about this song is iconic, from the meaning to the actual beat to the song. It is a good jam song, but also one that hits you right in your feelings. SO worth the listen.

“Suicidal” by YNW Kelly

The song starts off really slow, however, once it started, I actually enjoyed it. The beat is pretty simple, but the lyrics hit deep. The beat drop and the song easily became one of mine from this review. Might or might not put this in my playlist after this review…

“Savage” by Megan Thee Stallion

This song is definitely different, and I really don’t know how to feel about it. In some parts, it was a really good song, but others I really hated listening to it. However, I couldn’t help myself from doing the songs famous dance. This song might just be one of those I can’t tell you how I feel about it, so you might have to listen to it yourself.

“Psycho!” by MASE

This song just felt really repetitive but I did like it. It is different and has a good beat. I really don’t have much to say about it, it’s fun and definitely a good song to jam out to.

“City of Angels” by 24kGolden

I will admit after getting this song stuck in my head after watching TikToks with it, I listened to it and fell in love. It’s just a really cool song and I like the singer’s voice mostly. The beat is a really good one to just kind of dance around your room to. I genuinely liked this song.

“Lalala” by Y2K

As soon as the song played, I remembered the TikTok and got excited. After listening to it all the way through, I literally added it to my playlist. I just love all the beat drops and it’s just a song to vibe to. It’s another one you catch yourself doing goofy dances to, and can’t be in a bad mood when you listen to it.
