Although the Jaguar JV football team lost on Thursday, they are working to come back stronger and better as a whole. They played against Crandall at 7:00.

“I think when we came into the game, we just didn’t have the right mindset,” said Nathan Medrano.”We need to work on encouraging each other and getting our heads in the game.”

Although the JV football team lost 0-20 on Thursday, with it being so early in the season the team is still working and improving overall plays and attitude.

“I think as a player I need to work on doing the right coverage and containing the running back,” said Jay Wilkerson.

The team is excited for the rest of the season and not discouraged by this loss, but rather ready to stand toe to toe to the the rest of their opponents.

“The loss was tough, and we’ll just have to work harder, focus more in practice, and take advantage of the reps we can get.” said Peyton Culberson.
