Natalya Shelton, Newspaper Managing-Editor
Guess who’s back, back again? Nat is back. Tell a friend. Actually, don’t tell a friend because they probably don’t care, but I am back on the newspaper staff, this time trying my hand at managing editor. A lot has changed since last year so let’s do a quick recap. First, I have grown an inch and aged a year so I am now 6 '1 and 17 years old. Second, I no longer play basketball (unfortunate, I know) and my playlist is now about 50% rap, 20% Billie Eilish, and 30% Linkin Park. I still side-eye people who think Lebron is the GOAT though, I haven’t changed that much. The only other notable difference is that last year I was starting my newspaper journey, and this year it will be coming to an end. But the certified lover boy himself Drake said it best: “I’m here for a good time, not a long time.” So while I wasn’t a part of newspaper long at all, I certainly enjoyed my time here, and I’m definitely looking forward to the good times to come.

![Many students and coaches are questioning the rising amount of student-athletes quitting the sports they once loved. Jerzie Bryant (12) reflected on how this has affected both the teams themselves and the friendships involved. I’m disappointed actually, because they could’ve done a lot for us this year, Bryant said. [And] we don’t talk to them as much off the court, so the friendship may have been a little bit lost.
