The Red (JV) volleyball team beat Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School on Friday, Oct. 2 at home in two sets. The score of the first set was 25-8 and the second set was 25-18. This makes their district status two wins and one loss.

The team agrees they played well together with the help of good communication.

“Communication is really what helps to get us far,” Korie Jones (10) said. “But I think we need to work more on calling plays to get us all on the same page.”

However, the girls believe they can do better.

“We still did good but didn’t play as well as we can,” Kaylee Keasler (9) said. “We played down to their level.”

JV coach Lindsay Fallen could not be more proud of her girls.

“These girls continue to work hard everyday and leave everything on the court,” Fallen said. “They really came together and played like a team tonight. We will continue to fight.”
