The End Of The King Cathey Era

The End Of The King Cathey Era

Jason Cathey, AV Team Member

The last three years I’ve been in Jag Media it has been so much fun. I remember when I first applied for Jag Media and not knowing if it was going to be hard or not. Then I remember the day that Justin Green pulled me into the hallway and told me that I was officially joining Jaguar Media. I was extremely excited and all of my friends and family congratulated me. I remember the time being the sports anchor for the Roar even though I wasn’t in Jaguar Media! But those times were extremely fun. Sophomore year I applied to the short-lived communications (social media) team. There were times where I was stressed at a certain task thinking I wouldn’t be able to get it done, but I managed to overcome and accomplish my tasks at hand. Junior year I transitioned into the A/V team. I was extremely excited because I got the chance to be on the Roar more often, and all the video stories I had to do were teaching me how to edit stories for the Roar.

Then senior year, the final year being at Midlothian Heritage and being at Jaguar Media, this year we had a lot more things to take care of and I was excited because I wanted to work more. There have been so many memories over the years of being in Jaguar Media, and I wanna thank Mrs. Kidder for accepting me into this family. You are one of the few teachers that I’ve had all four years in high school. I know you’ll miss me as much as I will miss you.
