15 Things To Do In Fall

Lungs filled with crisp air. Streets lined with carved pumpkins and sidewalks covered with fallen leaves. Nights are full of playful screams and clever costumes and moments that make your face hurt from smiling. As time passes, the days become shorter and the food becomes sweeter. This is not just any other time of the year. This is Fall, and there is something special about this pumpkin-crazed season.

But if Autumn is such a memorable time, why is it that when looking back over the year all the seasons seem to blur together? Did you take that cruise vacation in the summer or the spring? Did your dad buy you a car for Christmas or your birthday? People should be able to recall the fall of 2019 and say, “That is a time I will never forget.” So, want to remember Fall as “the best time of the year”? Here are 15 memorable things to do this Autumn:

1 State fair: Fried foods, attractions, games and Big Tex! What’s not to like about this yearly attraction?

2. Pumpkin Activities: Whether it’s picking out one from a patch ranging in colorful harvest, to carving faces and baking seeds, Autumn just wouldn’t be Autumn without pumpkins.

3. Haunted houses: Whether it is feeling pleasure from scaring others, or being the one terrified, haunted houses are full of memories waiting to happen!

4. Get fall drinks: It’s that time of year again! Starbucks is bringing back the seasonal flavors, so go pick up a pumpkin spice latte or a salted caramel mocha frappuccino before it is too late.

5. Hike: Taking in the beautiful colored leaves and nature sounds in sweater weather is one of the best ways to enjoy the season.

6. Hayride: Enjoy the hay needles, bumpy ride, and scenery!

7. Make rice krispie treats: Nothing brings joy like melted marshmallows in between your fingers! Homemade treats have never tasted better.
