Freshmen Boys’ Basketball defeated Argyle the night of December 16, at home. Through an aggressive, hour long game, Heritage managed to finish with a score of 54-28 against the Eagles.

The team had great communication, helping them power through the game and take pride in a great win.

“We did really well,” Harrison Hess (9) said. “We made a lot of good plays and communication was a big factor in our win as well.”

Another thing that contributed to the Jag’s victory were the plays and flow of the ball on the court.

“We had good ball movement and continuity,” Jackson Cole (9) said. “We overestimated [Argyle] a lot, too.”

More specifically, the team had the joy of making numerous great shots, propelling their score higher and higher throughout the game.

“I feel great about how I played,” Jay Wilkerson (9) said. “The journey’s still going.”
