Heritage held their third annual “Deck the Halls of Heritage” to kickstart the festive season on the night of December 6 in the lobby of the school. The event was complete with fundraisers, sweet treats, photos with Santa Claus, and the choir singing Christmas carols.

Student council sold picture frames, food, and gave away “reindeer food” for kids to put out on Christmas Eve.

“It was really fun to hand out the reindeer food to the little kids,” Autumn Charnoski (11) said. “It was cool to see them get so excited.”

Cheyenne Ross (12) experienced her first Deck the Halls last night, where she sold baked goods and war drinks in the Heritage Library.

“Deck the Halls was really nice,” Ross said. “It was great to just converse with people and enjoy the holiday season.”

The Heritage Belles helped with the Santa Claus photos in the lobby.

“It’s great to see the people of Heritage and the little kids having fun,” Logan Fitzgerald (9) said. “Santa was a blast.”
