With the end of the school year in sight, and final exams approaching, many upperclassmen are looking to their futures outside of high school.

Some have decided to attend one of the local community colleges.  

In preparation for the oncoming influx of new students, Navarro College is hosting a preview day in Midlothian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29.

This preview day will allow students to gain information on tuition and fees, degree plans, and the campus location.

With the average cost of attending Navarro College $8,957, it is a little under half the national average of $16,574.

This can help students struggling financially, and it can allow students to still graduate with a college degree with little to no student loans.  

As Navarro is partnered with Texas Tech and Tarleton State University, students can complete their Masters and Bachelor degrees through the school of their choosing.

Navarro also prides itself on being one of the most affordable community colleges, giving students a chance to get their associate’s degree first and continue their education at a larger college, ultimately cutting down the cost.
